Welcome back to school everyone! It was lovely to see you all today.
We had a very busy time last term and I loved the Titanic topic. It was very interesting and I think we learnt a lot.
One of my highlights was working with Haltwhistle film project to create our Titanic animation. It was great to learn all of the skills needed to create a high quality animation. I was very impressed with you all, the way you all got on with your tasks and put all of your effort into it, well done to everyone! I can’t wait to see the finished film. We will continue to practise animating this term. Kyle even made his very own at home and you can view in the Benton Park films section of the blog site. Well done Kyle. I am also looking forward to watching Miss Mulholland’s and Mr Cowen’s class films because I think that they will be fantastic too. It will be interesting to see the ideas they came up with and all the skills they learnt.
Last term was also very exciting as we did our Titanic class assembly. I was proud of you all as I thought it was excellent. It was a great opportunity to let all of your parents see what we have been learning in class. What did you enjoy about the assembly?
As you probably will have noticed some of the Titanic work is on display along the KS2 corridors and in the main entrance. I think all of the work produced looks fab and of a very high standard!
I am looking forward to all the exciting things we have coming up this term. Write back and let me know what you thought of last term and what you are looking forward to this term.
